We aim to reintroduce a public swimming, health and leisure facility to Minehead and the surrounding area, since the local authority run pool closed in 2006.

The nearest public, indoor pool is now in Taunton, making it difficult to access particularly for the elderly, large families, disabled people, or those in need of water based therapy, as well as people who just want a swim!

The public want their pool back and we think it should belong to the people of Minehead. That’s why we’re running it as a co-operative.
